My sewing room just flooded tonight. It came in through the window well, and poured over my table and sewing machine. It ran out of the room and into the family room.
I'm trying really hard not to freak out, as I can't afford another machine like I have right now. It was a gift from my mom two yrs ago.
I hope the inner walls don't have damage too....
02/05 UPDATE: There wasn't a lot of damage as hubby and our boys were home (I was at church with our daughter for knit/crochet club) and they caught it. They used every towel we own.
Rod set up one of my craft show tables and moved boxes, tubs, and such on that to get things off the floor.
He plugged in my sewing machine and it came on. Let's pray it works.
